Seasons Greetings to all!  

 

 

Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year, after a few hectic weeks travelling around the country it’s fantastic to be able to hang up the car keys and settle down with my family for a few days of indulgence.   This year the children are really looking forward to having their grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins join us for Christmas Day – spending time with family is what makes this time so special.  This weekend with the help of my able assistants, Emily, Sophie and Tom, I intend doing some Christmas baking, maybe some mince pies and gingerbread biscuits - always handy to have for the unexpected guest!   Thankfully the Cake & Puddings are made, it was a real family effort with all the weighing, mixing, and sifting – though the cleaning up afterwards didn’t have the same appeal!!

 

 

I would like to thank everyone for their fantastic support at the SuperValu Christmas Food Fairs, we had many great evenings and it was a pleasure to meet you  all – hopefully you picked up some culinary tips to make your festive cooking a bit easier!     Also huge thanks to all who made it along to the Charity evening with Richard Corrigan and myself in Waterford recently, the evening was a great success with the proceeds being donated to St. Vincent de Paul and Hope Foundation. 

 

The phones are Dunbrody extremely busy at the moment with people getting their last minute gift vouchers for their loved ones, we look forward to welcoming you all to Dunbrody in the New Year!
